Krave It
Known for their “new-aged” style of pizzas and unique sandwich making, Krave It, is the go-to local shop that you need to try. I had the opportunity to get behind the counter with owner, and Queens native, Vishee Mandahar at his shop, to see his unique ideas come to life.
Vishee would tell you his goal is to serve up nothing but comfort food, and create a space where customers can let their guards down, chill out and enjoy a meal for once with an ice cold craft beer. Take it from me, (someone with 10-year-old tastebuds) the trip to Bayside is well worth it!
If the colorful murals around the shop, and eclectic wall decor don’t catch your eye, the crazy menu will most certainly make you do a double-take. Cheeseburger Pizza, Mac & Cheese Cheetos Pizza, Loaded Tater Tot, and Fried Oreo Pizza, are just a few that might jump out at you, and I can confirm, they are delicious!
All those cravings you had as a kid and wish you could have made– well that is what Vishee has brought to life with Krave It.
